Singing
"music charges the brain and the more we sing, the more we strengthen the communication between the two sides of the brain." I Can't Sing"Singing is a great way to relieve stress and relax. It's good for you! When we sing we exercise muscles in our body; it's a physical activity." Benefits of Singing
"Just open your mouth and SING! Your smile and enthusiasm will make up for any lost notes. Sing in the morning, sing when you clean up, sing during transitions, and sing to teach children skills you are working on." Keep a Song in Your Heart

"There is something that physically, emotionally, spiritually happens when people sing together" Never Stop Singing

Music is important to me but some people do not believe it is important. People do not think that it does anything for the body; however, it not only is emotional, but it is also a physical activity. People listen to music, but our students need to sing too. You do not need to sing alone with a spotlight on you; singing together is powerful and emotional. Some of these are things that I did not know and I am glad I do now.
I will be very sure to include music in my classroom and make sure other teachers and parents know how important it is. I will sing with my class and my class will learn to love songs and music. I am so close to having my own classroom and I am going to take the knowledge that I learned from these articles with me. Songs can be incorporated into academics if teachers want it to be, it is easy and fun.
